Browse across data from many donors now.
You can use this site to export data collated from across IATI data publishers, and access or query data programmatically.
The IATI Explorer allows you to select a selection of aid activities published to the IATI Registry to load up in your browser where you can then further filter and browse the data through an interactive interface. You can access a summary and full-view of each activity, and get the underlying data as XML, JSON or CSV.
This is an experimental tool, and due to differences in the data available from different donors, and the different ways donors may represent their data at present, there are a number of issues that may affect the presentation of data and the functioning of this app. This tool requires a modern web browser (Firefox; Chrome or Internet Explorer 7 and above) and makes extensive use of Javascript.
The IATI Explorer checks the registry regularly for new data, and makes a copy of the data here, in an XML document store. It then uses this store to search across IATI data from different donors, letting you fetch back and explore all the aid activities in a particular country, sector or of a particular type (to name just a few example 'slices' that the Explorer can take through the available IATI data.)
This tool is powered by IATI and Development Gateway.

Data is published part of the International Aid Transparency Initiative by individual donors, often in a different file for each country they work in, and is listed in the IATI Registry. This tool uses data fetched from all those files, and aggregated together in an XML database to allow you to query the data and convert it into the format you want.
